Ep 92: Podcasting, Writing, and Literary Adventures – Highlights of 2023 and Exciting Plans for 2024
As 2023 comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey we’ve shared through books, authors, and literary adventures. From the inception of the podcast in 2021 to now, we’ve explored 90 amazing episodes, and I’m thrilled to announce that by February 2024, we’ll be celebrating our 100th episode milestone. It’s an achievement that I’m truly proud of and couldn’t have done it without your unwavering support and enthusiasm.
The podcast was born from my love of reading books that transport you to far-off places. Whether it’s the cobblestone streets of Paris, the bustling energy of London, or the serene landscapes of other beautiful locations, I am passionate about sharing books that offer readers a literary escape. And it’s not just about the settings; it’s about the captivating stories and characters that make these literary journeys truly unforgettable.
Over the past three years, the podcast has been a platform for me to interview over 100 incredible authors, delving into their personal stories, writing processes, and the experiences that have shaped them. This year, 2023, marked a significant milestone in my own journey as I proudly published my first book, “Finding Dolly,” a sweet contemporary romance that takes readers on a heartwarming adventure in Nashville. The response has been overwhelming, and I’m immensely grateful for the support and love you’ve shown for my debut novel.
Looking ahead to 2024, I’m delighted to announce the launch of the “Read Across the US Book Club.” This exciting new venture will take us on a literary tour of all 50 states, exploring diverse books and authors. I invite you to join us as we embark on this thrilling adventure, discovering new stories and connecting with fellow book enthusiasts along the way. With new episodes scheduled every Thursday, next year promises to be filled with engaging author interviews and captivating literary discussions.
As the year draws to a close, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for being part of this incredible community.
